It’s Official!! The V-Knights will perform at the 27th International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee. The V-Knights will represent The Phoenix Blues Society at the Youth Showcase on February 4, 2011.
“Congratulations to Krimson Chord for prevailing in the 20th anniversary of the Arizona Blues Showdown. It was also great fun to inform the V-Knights that they will be representing PBS in the Youth Showcase at IBC. PBS will be helping to conduct some benefits in the near future to help both bands raise funds for Memphis. In addition to heading to Memphis to compete in the 27th annual IBC, Krimson Chord will appear onstage at Blues Blast on Saturday, February 19th. Joining Krimson Chord onstage will be the B.B. King Entertainer of the year along with his band, the Blues Music Award winning band of the year, Tommy Castro. The three time BMA winner for her saxophone playing Deanna Bogart & her band will also be appearing and just received confirmation this week that Trampled Under Foot will be appearing as will. This is the 20th anniversary of the festival and it will be crazy fun. We’re all looking forward to it and hope to see you there.” Kyle, The Phoenix Blues Society
It’s an honor to have the opportunity to represent The Phoenix Blues Society and our local community. This is also an opportunity to draw attention to the Kids Rock Star program and other charities we support to increase the fund raising efforts.
